Sail Community Guidelines
Effective October 16, 2026. Sail welcomes independent voices and respectful discussion. These rules apply to creator audio, video, artwork, descriptions, and other material available through Sail.
Prohibited content
Do not publish sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, pornography, credible threats, targeted harassment, hate directed at protected groups, incitement to violence, instructions encouraging dangerous or illegal acts, scams, private personal information without consent, or material you lack permission to distribute. Mature labels do not make prohibited material acceptable.
Creator responsibilities and rights
Creators must hold the necessary rights to recordings, music, artwork, and other material they publish, and must authorize Sail to distribute that content. Offline downloads require permission in addition to streaming permission. Importing or hosting an RSS feed does not establish ownership or override another provider’s terms. Explicit language and mature themes must be accurately labeled. Creators must not evade moderation by republishing removed content.
Review and enforcement
Content enters the iOS listener catalog only after Sail reviews it and confirms distribution rights. Reviewed content changes require renewed approval. Sail may withhold, restrict, or remove content and suspend abusive creators. We review reports and respond to actionable concerns; urgent concerns receive priority. Copyright owners can contact us with the affected episode, the work claimed, evidence of ownership or authorization, and a reply address.
Report, block, and appeal
Use an episode’s menu to report content or block its creator. Guests can report without signing in. Blocking hides that creator’s episodes on your device and stops current playback; unblock creators in Account → Content Settings. For urgent concerns, privacy questions, or an appeal, email fkhosti@gmail.com and include the episode or report reference. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
